This was an interesting assignment because I didn't find out what I thought I would. At my school the technology available varies tremendously between the different classrooms. How teachers utilize it varies as well.
The biggest surprise was how nonexistent any type of plan for teaching technology or using it as a teaching tool is. It seems like the district occasionally comes up with some money for new equipment but not for training.
Because I am in a classroom without any technology what so ever, I probably have a pretty negative slant on what's happening at TMHS so the reader can keep this in mind.
